We support all governments and the education and care sector to realise the benefits of the National Quality Framework

The Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority works with all governments to provide guidance, resources and services to support the sector to improve outcomes for children.

The AEDC provides a national measurement to monitor Australian children’s development.
The AEDC provides evidence to support policy, planning and action for health, education and community support. The AEDC can assist governments to develop flexible approaches to policy and planning that address the evolving needs of children and families in the future.

ECA prides itself on being a voice for young children. We are willing and able to speak on a broad range of issues related to the delivery of early childhood education and care (ECEC), including:
-
quality in early childhood education
-
Federal Government policy, and
-
affordability and accessibility of ECEC.
Through our vast network, we are also able to provide highly qualified experts on fields including child psychology, social and emotional wellbeing of children, early childhood education and care and much more.
Better Beginnings is a Western Australian family literacy program that connects families with books through free reading packs. Our goal is to inspire a love of literacy and learning for all W.A. children by encouraging families to read, talk, sing, write and play with their child every day...
